Has anyone else thought of doing the regular and alternative in different colors?

I’m stitching the original and alternative in the same color choices, but fabrics are different shades of blue. I’m using floss from my stash – some DMC, some Kreinik braid #4, some Kreinik silk and a very interesting vintage metallic ribbon-like stuff I found on Etsy some time ago. Enjoying this very much!

I’m being a bit of a traditionalist and sticking with the colours that Alyssa has charted. I don’t really like to change the colours unless I don’t have them and at the moment I do.
